The 9th annual meeting of Alliance Again Cancer will take place from 28 to 30 November in Reggio Emilia (International Centre Loris Malaguzzi) and is co-organized by the four Institutes in Emilia-Romagna associated with the Network: USL-IRCCS di Reggio Emilia, IRCCS Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute and IRCCS University Hospital of Bologna and IRCCS Cancer Research Institute of Meldola Dino Amadori.

The program deal with  innovative and current translational aspects in the study of cancer research and treatment; highlights will cover the discussion on new concepts of cancer plasticity along with genomics in the natural history of cancer, on the new concepts of tumor ecosystem with particular attention to the rarest and currently least studied forms and on the innovations in the field of hereditary tumors and rare tumors.

Special sessions will be dedicated to new therapeutic approaches and the state of the art and future possibilities of cell therapies. Finally, the focus will be on the role and opportunities/issues of artificial intelligence and big data in cancer research.

This edition, compared to the previous ones, introduces into the programme some innovations that have been: some of the most important specificities of the activity of the four Institutes that are reflected not only in the health and research activities of the Emilia-Romagna Region but, also national and international: hereditary tumors, lymphomas, rare tumors such as sarcoma and new therapeutic approaches.

The official language of the meeting is English. A simultaneous translation service in Italian is not provided.
